Hebden Bridge Hostel

English Hostels, Bunkhouses and Camping Barns

Hebden Bridge Hostel (aka Mama Weirdigan’s) is located in a Grade II listed building and provides accommodation in 4-bed dorms, a 6-bed bunk-room and in private rooms for 2-4 people. Nestled into woodland and yet only a short walk from the town centre, river and canal, the hostel makes a good base for hiking, sight-seeing, shopping or experiencing Hebden’s vibrant music and arts scene. Handy for the Pennine Way, Calderdale Way and Hebden-Haworth Circular.

10am-5pm access to the lobby only. After 10pm access by keycode. Under 16’s to be accompanied by parent/guardian; under 14s in private rooms only,14-16 year olds with a same-sex parent /guardian may stay in single-sex dorms.

Bring your own sleeping bag if staying in bunkrooms (£12 rate). Beds are fully made up with clean linen in the private, twin and family rooms.

Public Transport:
15 mins walk from Hebden Bridge Train Station (frequent, quick service to Leeds and Manchester). Buses from the station stop outside the Birchcliffe Centre (Dodd Naze Circular). The closest coach station is at Bradford. .
  Directions:
From Railway station carpark follow road to a T-junction then turn left onto Burnley Rd. Take the next right signposted Keighley. Right again onto Birchcliffe Rd, steeply uphill. The Birchcliffe Centre on the left.
