The Wetherdown Lodge is part of The Sustainability Centre which promotes environmental awareness and low impact living. It is on top of the South Downs, and is an award-winning example of an eco-renovation and a comfortable place to stay, just a few steps from the South Downs National Trail. A clean, bright, friendly hostel, open to all. Ideal for family get-togethers, walkers, cyclists, business away-days and wedding parties. The hostel has spacious communal areas, comfortable bedrooms with hand basins & all linen provided & separate bathrooms / toilets throughout.
A ‘help yourself’ breakfast is included in the price, available from 8am. There is a small fully equipped self-catering kitchen. Packed lunches available by order.
The centre has large grounds with woodland trails, a guided walk and cafe open thurs-sun. Camping is also available all year round with tipis and yurts for hire. Within 2 miles of the hostel are 4 country pubs, local shops, Chinese, Indian & Pizza takeaways.
